About the Company
It's a very well-recognized Top-Tier National Business with workshops all across Brisbane, QLD and Australia.
They are looking for a temporary mechanic that can potentially become permanent or get extended to work with them.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using modern diagnostic scan tools.
- Perform routine logbook services, oil changes, tire replacements, wheel alignments, and multi-point safety inspections.
- Repair or replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust systems, engines, and transmissions.
- Maintain high workmanship standards, ensure test drives pass safety checks, and strictly follow workshop safety protocols.
- Clearly explain technical issues to service advisors or customers and maintain clean, accurate job logs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic (or local trade equivalent / apprenticeship completion).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a workshop environment.
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop machinery (hoists, tire changers, balancers).
- Strong problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and a focus on safety.
